DMS has been serving the needs of our customers for over 39 years. Drywall Masonry Supplies offers a complete line of drywall, masonry, and landscaping supplies to Cape Cod & the Islands and Eastern Massachusetts.

We carry a full line of face bricks, paving bricks & paving materials, fireplace supplies, retaining walls, drywall products and cultured stone.

Additionally, we are distributors for the high quality gas fireplaces and wood-burning fireplaces manufactured by Heatilator®, Quadra-Fire®, and Napoleon®.

Drywall Masonry Supplies caters to all of our customers, whether you’re a homeowner, a contractor or a design professional. We are a family owned and operated business that strives for professional service, quality products and competitive pricing.

History

It all started back in 1976 when owner Lou McKnight had decided after a short seven years in the building industry it was time to start his own company and formed Drywall Masonry Supplies. Lou had been managing a local lumber yard since 1969 and after seeing the opportunity of growth that was evolving on Cape Cod he said “its now time to go out on my own”.

Drywall Masonry Supplies started out in West Yarmouth with just a few employees, a boom truck, one forklift and a pick up-truck. As business started to increase and the company growing at a good pace Lou now had made the decision to move Drywall Masonry Supplies to a newer location with a larger yard and warehouse. In 1982 he moved the company to its current location at White’s Path in South Yarmouth.

Along with a larger yard came more employees more equipment and a wider line of products to offer its customers. Within a 15 year timeline Drywall Masonry Supplies had added an additional location in Raynham, which opened its doors in 1991. Today we have a staff with over 20 dedicated employees who have been with the company for many years, and offer a wide fleet of trucks and equipment to service our customers.

As another business venture Lou had now started DMS Fireplace Shop a division of Drywall Masonry Supplies which became the Distributors for Heatilator Wood and Gas Fireplaces on Cape Cod and Southeastern Massachusetts. Today DMS Fireplace Shop sells and installs our Heatilator gas and wood fireplaces along with the Quadra Fire line of gas units.
